Vision Statement

After more than 40 years in US medicine, in many ways the best in the world and in other ways not the best, I have accumulated enough experience as a high-volume surgeon to reflect on the tens of thousands of surgeries and
patients I have interacted with to give, in my opinion, unbiased, balanced, and truthful medical information with respect to reams of medical information and issues we are inundated with on a daily basis, free from the unbalanced media and paid advertising world of hyped and skewed information.

Unbalanced or misinformation is everywhere – not only from industry giants including Big-Pharma, Insurance companies, Health Care Networks, academic centers and government agencies – but also well-meaning
practitioners, patients and the lay public. My goal, along with experts’ input, is to provide a balanced, truthful view of what we know, what we don’t know, and how data can be manipulated to influence medical care. Please join me on this eye-opening journey.
